My Early Drawings

About the project

As this site shows, I love talking about my work, no matter how old (especially if its old). I thought it would be fun to show some of my childhood influences.

The oldest drawings I have kept are my Star Wars drawings. Watching Empire Strikes Back was a life changing experience for me. Growing up in the countryside of Norway, this was the first film I remember seeing (at a friends birthday). It made a huge impact on my childhood. And I've been doing Star Wars artwork ever since.

When I reached puberty, I was very much into naked ladies, men with guns and chrome spaceships. I did countless drawings like the ones below, most of them inspired by Zzap 64 or games cover art. The Robocop drawing still looks kind of cool, though. Robocop always look cool.
