A good friend of mine lived together with her cat in a cottage outside town. The cat got pregnant, but she never saw any kittens. She later discovered that the cat had hidden a dead kitten behind some boxes in a corner of her shed. We found this very moving, and I gave her this painting for christmas as a memory.
