This is a job that I am really proud about. One of the leading hairdressing chains in Norway (Adam & Eva) asked Cecilie Ellefsen, photographer Evy Andersen and me to come up with something nice for their 2005 catalogue. I didn't have time for the pre-production meetings or the shoot itself, so one day I just got 12 photos on my desk that needed 3D background replacements! I could do anything I wanted, which was incredibly gratifying. Here you can see how the pictures ended up. I've received tons of positive feedback on this job, which was great since I really liked doing it. I hope I get to do more jobs like this in the future.

I just have to mention the amazing retouching work done by Arne Kaupang/AKDesign. He's a 3D guy, just like me, but unlike me he has very sharp eye for the little details in fashion and design. When he saw these images he offered to retouch them for us, and the work he did was really important for the final look. Check the above animation to see how the photos look from the camera compared the final versions. He did small and subtle things, like a nudge here and a smoothening there, but that is what perfected these images. Thanks Arne :)
