My last VFX job at Toxic were the visual effects for the Norwegian movie 'Den Brysomme Mannen' ('The Bothersome Man'), directed by Jens Lien. I built, animated and rendered a 3D stunt model for the scene where the main character gets overrun in the subway.
Below you see the 3D model I built for the stunt sequence. Instead of hand-animating or capturing his motions, I animated him procedurally and simulated how he would behave during a real crash. The final image show him integrated into one of the scenes, where he is hanging in front of the subway train. It's kind of underwhelming in this still image, but it looks very effective in motion (especially with sound!).
