I had the pleasure of doing the vignette for the 10th Oslo International Film Festival. The original poster and design profile was done by Sigurd Kristiansen at Simian. I started out from his poster-design, and then added some of my elements.
My concept behind the vignette was to break film down to its most simplistic form: moving shapes. The entire vignette consist of basic geometric shapes slowly moving and rotating through an abstract space. The vignette ends with a group of shapes sliding together to form a video camera. I chose a video camera instead of a 35mm camera to reflect the new digital trend in motion pictures.
